Today, we went to a photo studio to have family Christmas photos taken. We had our immediate family, as well as my two brothers' families. That makes six adults and six kids under the age of seven. A fun time was had by all! It really was relatively painless, and I couldn't believe how well-behaved the kids were. The photographers were great, despite being aided by a flipping, laughing, very annoying stuffed monkey. At least the children were amused.

In other news, I'll be taking a few days' vacation until Monday, when I'll post the new edition of The Mothers' and Daughters' Blog Carnival. This time the carnival will have a theme: Mother/Daughter Goals for 2008. If you've already submitted a post and it doesn't pertain to the theme, don't worry, I'll still post it. And if you haven't submitted yet, why not? The deadline is Saturday, Dec. 30. (Click here to submit) The Carnival will be posted here on Monday, Jan. 1. It would be neat to have some first-time participants on the first edition of the new year!
I'm looking forward to sharing some of our holiday adventures, and reading yours!
